Anyone can suffer from workplace bullying. Many years ago, I suffered from being bullied at work before I decided to train to become a professional clinical hypnotherapist. Fortunately, thanks to a good friend, I discovered how to use self-hypnosis, which helped me treat stress and anxiety. The psychological effect that the bullying process had on me was devastating. But, like many people, I refused to admit that I was hurting inside because I refused to let the bullies win.
The bullying at work brought about a whole spectrum of emotions, from general anxiety to severe depression. I never dreamed I could feel that way, especially after serving in Northern Ireland for many years without trauma. I realised that workplace bullying was the most debilitating thing I have endured so far, affecting myself and my family and friends.
After reading Tim’s book “Bully In Sight,” I sought ways to overcome bullying stress and anxiety. Thankfully, my friend returned to my aid and brought me a book about self-hypnosis. It didn’t take me long to start trying the different techniques. I was amazed at how quickly I began to heal psychologically. Many years have now passed since I started my journey of discovery. Finally, I have treated my anxiety symptoms caused by being bullied and understand the power of using self-hypnosis to overcome the signs of being bullied. I have now helped many other people to do precisely the same.
If you are being bullied, do not give up or give in to the bullies. Bullies participate in bullying simply because of their insecurities. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be like them. Do not delay in getting help. Contact Quays Clinic of Hypnotherapy today.
